The UNCECOMP 2017 Social Programme consists of the following events:
- Welcome Reception: Wednesday June 14, (19:00 to 20:30), Rodos Palace Outdoor Pools
- Conference Banquet: Friday June 16 (20:30 to 23:30), Dome at Rodos Palace

The accompanying persons’ programme features the following guided tours:

City Tour Filerimos
The tour will take place on June 15. Cost per person: 23,00 € (min pax: 20)
Pickup from hotels: 09:00
Start ascent to Filerimos- approximately 1-hour guided tour. The guests continue heading towards the Ancient stadium of the temple of Apollon, where they have around 40 min to tour and take photographs. Next on to the walls of the Old Town, where they leave the bus and walk through the Gate of Amboise and are guided to the outside of the Knights Palace, the Inn of England & Archaeological Museum. Following the guests will have about 50-60 minutes free time to explore & shop.
Return: around 14:00

Lindos – half day
The tour will take place on June 16. Cost per person: 30,00 € (min pax: 20)

The lively village of Lindos is a unique monument of preservation, combination of clear blue skies, crystal-clear waters surrounded by the dazzling white colour of the traditional village houses.The astonishing beauty of the castle, the Acropolis of Athena Lindia on the top of the hill enjoying spectacular views, with St. Paul’s Bay (where the Apostle arrived in 58 AD) and the paved streets of the village captivate visitors. A walk through its narrow paved streets reveals the beauty of the traditional island architecture. Visit the Acropolis either on foot or ...using the "Lindos Taxi" donkeys (extra charge), to witness the vibrant history of the place.

Symi Island
The tour will take place on June 17. Cost per person: 45,00 € (min pax: 20)
The boat leaves from commercial harbor of Rhodes at 09:00 towards Symi, one of the most unspoiled of the Greek Islands. Upon arrival, guests will have time at leisure to explore the quaint shops in search for natural sea sponges and cooking spices or have a fresh fish lunch (not included in the price). After lunch, at 14:00 the boat sets sail for Panormitis, here there is plenty of time to see the Monastery of St. Michael, swimming and sunbathing before returning to Rhodes.
